SELENIUM D305TI Compression Driver & Goldwood GM450PB Horn - PRE JBL
Two of these units are available, listed price is for a single unit - buy both and receive a 10% discount on total price.
Ready to rock with this Selenium compression driver mounted on a heavy duty 90x40 ABS horn by Goldwood. Prior to collaboration with JBL, these drivers are described by manufacturer as "high sensitivity, low distortion and extended frequency response", what else do you need? Manufacturer spec for frequency range is 500-18,000hz with a recommended minimum crossover level of 800hz. Full specs below in picture #12. Compared to the still available model D305 with phenolic diaphragm, the upper end frequency range is the biggest difference with the D305 rated up to 9,000hz while the D305TI goes up to 18,000hz. These units were pulled from a working 2-way cabinet where they were paired with a beefy 15" woofer and have been tested out of the cabinet with flying colors. Horn face measures approx 17.75" wide by 9.75" high with a horn depth of 9" and a total mounted depth of 12.5". The units are virtually identical in all regards including the Goldwood horns and if buyer doesn't indicate preference I will pick a unit randomly to fill single unit order. DCR readings on the two were 5.7 and 5.9, as expected for an 8 ohm nominal rated driver. History provided by seller indicates the diaphragms are original Selenium titanium components but no teardown was conducted due to working condition at expected levels of performance. Fully tested and ready to play.
Both units are in very good condition - no cosmetic or functional issues. Missing mounting nut and stud on one unit as pictured has been replaced. P
