SCARCE OLD TIN PLATE BOAT WITH ORIG BOX, WESTERN GERMANY

Description

The box calls this a "Puff-Paff Raketenboote", with a patent number of 829876.  This little tin boat measures approx 4 1/2" L, and fortunately has its original box.  The tin toy is marked Made in West Germany, and the box gives info in German and English for how to use it.  The paint is remarkably fine, very little aging see.  It was intended to move across water by means which I don't completely understand.  Water is to be poured into the open back, and there are two metal tubes extending out the aft which cause it to move.  I do not know what might be missing, if anything. The box is in very nice condition too, one of the small flaps loose but kept within the box. SAGANGUY LT, ANTIQUES & ART.
