This is a really large high quality and finely detailed model of the cruise ship, the sovereign class Majesty of the Seas in the Royal Caribbean fleet. I think it is still in operation.
This series was made by hand by master craftsmen. Using historical photographs, drawings and original plans, the craftsment hand made these to scale with high-grade wood. They are 100% hand built individually using plank-on-frame construction method and are similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop.
The level of detail on this ship is unparallelled--no detail was spared. There are multiple decks with each have its own furnishings. Hundreds of open windows represent passenger rooms. Dozens of wooden lifeboats are made of wood and meticulously painted in red. There are wood and metal railings on each level of the ship. The top deck is painted in blue while the lower deck is painted in dark brown. Other details can also be noticeable on the top deck such as navigation system, hoisting engine, masts and more. The model is painted in a brown and black color with blue accents. It comes with a solid wooden base with a brass nameplate with the words “Majesty of the Seas.”
The ship has the dimensions:
30 inches long by 12 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide.
The stand is
23 5/8 inches long and 5 7/8 inches wide
CONDITION:
This item has been displayed and moved, so while it looks quite impressive, it is not perfect. There is dust in places we could not reach to clean. It does show some age related discoloration.
Some railings are separated as pictured. There are light scratches visible upon closer scrutinty that were difficult to photograph. There are paint chips. There are some small detail parts broken off or missing (though it is hard to tell with all the detail!). Some of these parts ARE included. Missing one of the propellers. No box. The stand shows some wear, and the nameplate has some wear to it.
ALL is visible in the MANY pictures we have provided. Pictures are part of the description.
We will pack it carefully and safely--and we are excellent packers with lots of experience packing delicate items--but there is a chance a small detail part may come off in shipping, so please be prepared for that.

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
