Roger Holmes 2002 DVD Midwestern Steam With Milwaukee Road 261 & Challenger 3985

In this one of the really rare 2000s DVDs from the footage of Mr. Roger Holmes as some of his titles are owned by Green frog productions, the 2 mainline steam giants operate multiple excursions in the Minnesota twin cities area, butler Wisconsin, & the north side of Chicago during June of 2002.
While 261 is still in action since it’s return from a 1472 day boiler inspection in 2013, 3985 last ran in October of 2010 & was officially retired by Union Pacific due to a couple of things: one of them being the restoration of Big Boy 4014, the other being centennial unit 6936 & 2-10-2 number 5511 with the challenger to its new home in Silvis Illinois which is in the greater rock island area.
Here are a couple of facts of what you didn’t know about this program. On the 3985 segment, TM books and video was there as the challenger was visiting the far west side of Chicago during production of I love big trains part 2. On the 261 segment, pentrex was there as their footages of 261 heading out of the twin cities was used during production of extreme steam.
I also have 2 variations of the DVD version as well. Most notably, the title on the top of the front cover, the description on the back, & the design of the disc.
