Rare Lot of 2 MERCURY TOYS CRUISE SHIPS G PATRONE & ENRICO Made in Italy Diecast

Rare lot of 2 Mercury Toys die cast cruise ships that were made in Italy, 1/1200 scale. The first is 5 1/2" long and is a nice example of the Mercury Toys SS Flavia 'C' with painted decks with a few very small chips (see photos for condition). Issued around the early1960's, this Italian range of die cast waterline ships was a contempory of Tri-ang Minic and of comparable quality. Mercury and Tri-ang models look good displayed alongside each other. The second cruise ship is 6" long and might be just a tad older (late 1950's maybe?) as the bottom isn't painted like the first, and it is marked "C Enrico C." in addition to the same Mercury and G. Patrone markings on the first. This one has a few more paint chips than the first but is still in good condition (versus VG to EX on the first). These are both rare toys and would make a great addition to any die cast toy collection!
