Burlington Northern! Rio Grande! Santa Fe! All three lines share the same track on Colorado's Colorful joint Line.
When the Burlington Northern placed their new Oakway SD60s into service, Colorado's Colorful joint line became even more colorful with the bold new blue and white paint scheme. Then came the new gray and red DASH 8s on lease to the BN from GE subsidiary LMX. You'll see an entire sequence featuring these new engines photographed against a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
Another sequence is devoted to the Santa Fe quality service freights. Short and fast, these trains leave from Big Lift south of Denver headed for La Hunta, Colorado, over the Joint Line
A special sequence features those intriguing red and yellow "SF" units painted and lettered in anticipation of the ill-fated merger.
