    Description

In part 1 of the Marysville Subdivision, which was first released on VHS only in 1997, there are a parade of freight trains with motive power such as the 3000 & 4000 series SD40-2s, the 9100, 9200, & 9300 series Standard Cab C40-8s, the 9400 & 9500 series Dash 8-40CWs, the 6000 series AC4400CWs, SD60s, the 2000 series GP38-2s & C30-7s, a brand-new SD90AMC, & many other road names such as Chicago & Northwestern, Norfolk Southern, EMD SD70M Demonstration units, a General Motors Demonstration Unit SD50, an LMX B40-8, Burlington Northern, Blue & Yellow Santa Fe, & a rebuilt blue chopped nose GP7 number 1306.
Locations include the Hotspot of Gibbon Nebraska which more action of the junction can be found in Sunrise Sunset Part 1 (By the way the entire 2 part series was filmed after a day at Gibbon during July of 1996), Platte River Bridge, the bridge & railroad crossing on Interstate 80, Milepost 279.8, the Hayland grain elevators, Hastings, Glenville, Fairfield, Milepost 237, Milepost 235, Edgar, Davenport, Dry Sandy Creek Bridge, Milepost 199.5, Fairbury, Endicott junction, Steele City near milepost 175, the state line at Milepost 172.27, Hollenberg Kansas, Breman, & ends the first part at the depot, yard & junction at Marysville near milepost 148.
There’s one little goof: the Pentrex Narrator Dave Drui thought that the Union Pacific purchased the C&NW in 1994, when it should’ve meant mid to late April 1995.
