In part 1 of the railroads of America series, there are 2 full length pentrex videos on model railroading: Great outdoor railways from 1994 which is yet to be converted to DVD in the future, & the Sierra pacific lines HO scale club layout from 1990. Fun fact: the snapshot of southern pacific daylight 4449 in either 1991 or 1992 on the exact front & both sides of the case was also used on the previews volume 4 videotape that was released at the exact same time as this 2-in-1 videocassette.
In part 2, there are lots & lots of vintage films on almost each & every fallen flag: New Haven, New York central, Pennsylvania, Santa Fe, Rio grande, & many other surprises during the golden years of passenger railroading way before Amtrak’s debut in May of 1971, as well as before people switching over to airplanes & automobiles.
Both of these compilation tapes are recorded in extended play mode for some reason rather than the common standard play mode for almost each & every pentrex videocassette.
