    Description

    This auction is for an excellent pair of Marantz 841-1066-000, 1.6” phenolic-ring tweeters. These were from a pair of Marantz model 4MK II systems. This type of tweeter is also used in a great many classic speaker systems from the 1970’s through the 2000’s. The diaphragm measures 1.6" in diameter and the metal frame measures 4.25" in diameter. There is no buzzing or other indication of misaligned voice coils. The voice coil DC resistance measures 6.0 Ohms on both units. The diaphragm resonance occurs at 3.6kHz on both units.
