On these pair of over 20 year old videotapes, you’ll learn the history of these early diesels from drawings on the blue-print to assemble these locomotives as well as witnessing them in action.
While these 2 tapes are made by kalmbach publishing despite that trailers & a short behind the scenes segment on how the trains magazine videos are made, footages of the diesels are captured on both film & videotape by other noteworthy producers. For example on GM’s Geeps, there are a couple of scenes on Oregon’s Mt. Hood scenic railroad which was captured by Greg Scholl during production of America By Rail the west coast route in 1995, & later used in early diesels 2 from 2001, & reflections from 2002.
These 2 videocassettes are later used on the train’s magazine’s ultimate railroading DVD series.
