Pair (2) Klipsch K400 Midrange Horns (no drivers) from 1979 La Scala's EXC COND

For sale is a pair of Klipsch K400 waveguide horns pulled from a matched pair of 1979 La Scala's I purchased from the original owner and have no issues whatsoever. The K55 drivers are not included. This listing is for the pair of horns only.
I have been doing a number of mods to my La Scala's and the K400's were completely covered with a Dynamat type of damping material that tamed a clearly audible amount of shout in the midrange. I did this after reading about La Scala mods in the Klipsch Audio Community and consulting with Al Klappenberger of ALK Engineering, and it yielded a significant improvement to the mids. I eventually went whole hog and shelled out $$$ for Al's Extreme Slope Crossovers, and bought the kit to build the Eliptrac 400 wooden midrange horns, so I decided to sell the original ones listed here. The damping material has been applied properly and covers the outside surface of the horns from stem to stern. The material itself cost me . The original mounting brackets are included and the old gaskets have been replaced.
These are sold AS-IS and no returns are accepted. They are sold in good faith and to be in the condition described. I have sold vintage audio gear, tubes, and music on eBay for the last twenty years and my seller feedback has been 100% since the inception.
No International shipping. I will ship to the lower 48 states, and using Fedex Ground or Home Delivery because it's the most economical in most cases, and usually faster and safer for larger packages.
