This is a matched pair of Mirage M-3si bipolar towers.  I was a Mirage dealer and sold M series speakers including M-3si and others, but not this particular pair, which was recently traded in to my store.  The owner gave them up because they no longer sounded good and I found that the cause was the failure of the foam surrounds on the four mid-range drivers.  Though most Mirage drivers have butyl rubber surrounds, the mids used in the M-3is utilized foam surrounds.   Fortunately, I had 4 NOS Peerless Danish mid-range drivers of similar size and characteristics as the original Mirage drivers, but these have butyl rubber surrounds, so they should last MANY years.  Because of the mounting requirements of the Peerless drivers, I had to make slight alterations to the cabinets of the M-3si's and place a car stereo grill over each behind the fabric covering to prevent the fabric from contacting the surround on each mid-range driver.  You can see the slight bulges in the fabric in the photos.  The original Mirage woofers utilize butyl rubber surrounds so they are fine and should last many years.    I encourage serious would be buyers to visit and audition these fabulous treasures before purchase and require local pickup because there is no practical way to ship them.

In those cases, payment is made to me but pickup is from location of item. Location and instructions for getting there will be furnished to winner.  If you Pick the item up

Options
:
I prefer to ship lightweight items by mail and heavier items by UPS ground for lowest cost but will entertain requests to ship by other methods if buyer is willing to pay the additional cost.     UPS requires a street address and will NOT deliver to a PO box so buyers lacking a street address may have to pay additional cost for delivery by mail. (and insurance, if desired)
International
shipments
are handled through eBay Global Shipping program.   I ship the item to eBay in Kentucky and they handle the actual export shipping of the item.
Packing
I pack professionally
using sturdy cartons, padded envelopes, and ample quantities of foam peanuts and/or bubble wrap to insure that items I ship arrive undamaged and so have VERY few items damaged in shipping.  I double box high value items to conceal the contents from prying eyes.  When practical, I re-use packing materials in an effort to minimize environmental impact and keep material cost down.
Postal insurance is expensive so I don't insure low value items (under )  shipped by USPS but UPS provides free insurance for the first hundred dollars value so all items handled by UPS are insured.
