Originally Released on VHS only in 1995, this program features an introductive segment by Glenn Bier, as well as a visit to the HO scale layouts: the first at Cannery Row in Monterey California which was filmed by Mr. Richard Reynolds from 1946 to 1955 that includes maps of the layout as well as still images, the other being at Mr. Beier’s house. There are steam locomotives like 4-4-0’s, 0-6-0’s, a 2-10-0 Decapod, shays, a rotary snowplow, & even a doodlebug. The models of the scratch built buildings are interesting as well as the details of realism like dealing with a wrecked freight for example.
Just like with all the other Sunday River VHS titles, this was recorded on a Maxell tape.
