    Description

Illinois Railnet Illinois Railway DVD CF-7’s Railroad Green Frog Production.
For sale is a new DVD from Green Frog Productions On the Illinois Railnet and Illinois Railway Ottawa to Streator Branches. All of the video was taken by me and as being marketed by Green Frog. I used a tripod whenever it was possible. Here is more about the DVD:
Ottawa to Streator and La Salle to Zearing Branches
See the Illinois Railnet's Ottawa to Streator Branch. Our cameras followed the Railnet over a few days a little over 15 miles to Streator. We start at Ottawa on 4-25-05 and follow the RailNet to Streator and back to Ottawa. Pulled by the NKCR #2 ex-CNW GP-7, and the CSP #4 ex-Southern B-23-7.
Also on the Ottawa - Streator Branch we see the #2 try to push a tree blocking the tracks. We also follow the RailNet back to Ottawa during a Thunder Storm.
Illinois Railway is leasing the Hudson Bay's SD-50’s numbers 5008 & 5009. We follow the 5009 on the Ottawa to Streator branch. Filmed on 3/3/09 & 3/10/09
On May 3 & 4 2005 we followed the NKCR #3 and IR #5 - both are ex-Santa Fe CF-7’s. Both engines ran from La Salle to Zearing to interchange with the Norfolk Southern.
We then caught up with #1 and #2 for 3 shots of the road job from Ottawa to Eola on May 8, 2005 - Program says #3 But is engine #2. We also see a few BNSF trains as the RailNet waits.
