Along the way, there are visits to tourist railroads with steam in charge that features former US army 610 at the Tennessee valley railroad museum in Chattanooga, Louisville & Nashville 152 on the Kentucky railway museum’s new haven to Boston line, & former Lake Superior & Ishpeming 734 on the western Maryland scenic railroad in Cumberland. None of these 3 stars of American steam are operating nowadays. Plus there is a visit to the big shanty museum where the general is on display.
