This is a rare October 19th, 1941 playbill from The New Opera Company production of the GIUSEPPE VERDI opera "MACBETH" at the Forty-Fourth Street Theatre in New York City. (In its first season, The New Opera Company presented four operas in a six-week season. The first performance of "MACBETH" took place on October 24th, 1941 after which there were five additional performances.) ....
