Ride the rails into the past by boarding the Laurel Highlands Railroad. This diminutive steam train will take you on a journey into the past over the former Pennsylvania and B&O tracks in Southwestern Pennsylvania. You will travel through the coal and coke towns of Scottdale, Mount Pleasant, and Youngwood, Special trips to Connellsville are also shown. This 20- minute DVD contains historical photos of the engine, restoration video, and interviews with the owner and chief engineer, Hal Harkness and others people who were instrumental in saving the "highlander" from the scrap yard. You can watch the engine take on coal and water and enjoy a few cab shots.
