For a full hour in the fall of 1988, pentrex returned to western Canada for a week long coverage on multiple steam powered double headers while rolling through the tracks of Canadian National, Canadian pacific, & the since been sold BC rail. A handful of diesel powered freights are included. Years after the doubleheaders the 3 steam giants of western Canada have been sold to other locations: 6060 is at the Alberta prairie railway, 3716 is at the kettle valley scenic railroad, & the royal hudson itself is since been out of service. What’s also interesting is that this video was recorded on a Maxell tape.
