B&O Beovox M100 Speakers PAIR

Selling a pair of B&O (Bang & Olufsen) Beovox M100 speakers. These are as much a mid century modern work of art as they are a function pair of speakers. To find a pair of these for sale is rare in itself, but to find a pair with the original adjustable stands included is even more so. They are in functioning condition and present well cosmetically, especially the veneer, which is impressively clean considering the age of these speakers. Sound is crisp, full, and detailed. A pair of wires will be included with the sale that have the B&O proprietary plug on one side and bare wire on the other, so you can use these with any suitable amp, not just a B&O one. Given their age, they do have a few flaws. One of the metal grills on the tweeters is missing. This is separate from the tweeter itself, which still produces sound. With the outer speaker grills on you neither see nor hear this flaw. The surrounds on the cone shaped mid drivers look a little rough. I am not an expert, but you may want to expect to replace the surrounds. Lastly the grills are not 100% perfect. There are no holes, but the fabric in a few of the corners has begun to come unglued and most of the mounting tabs have broken off, so the grills are best secured with Velcro or double sided tape.
