Antique 1941 Honolulu WW2 RPPC SS Calvin Coolidge Photo Post Card Pearl Harbor

This is truly an amazing piece of history!
Up for your consideration is an original antique real photo post card of the SS Calvin Coolidge. The ship was originally a cruise ship and the person who sent this card was a normal passenger. The message is rather mundane, but please take note of the date! This is dated Honolulu Hawaii Nov 6th, 1941, One month after this card was sent, the attack on Pearl Harbor would take place. Its strange to think, but when this card was sent, the Japanese were already enroute to Hawaii and the world was about to change forever.
The SS Calvin Coolidge would play a vital role in moving injured sailors from the attack to the mainland. Afterwards, it would be converted to be a troop and supply transport ship to the Pacific Theatre, even carrying P-40 Warhawk fighter planes! The ship would be sunk by mines during the war. I have included a photo of it next to a ruler so you can reference the size.
I doubt the person who sent this card would know the significance of the role the ship they were on would play.
This is to be considered in acceptable condition with wear including scuffs, marks, nicks, discoloring, fading, stains, creases, folds, small tears, etc. This is not mint. If this is unacceptable to you, please do NOT purchase this. Please review the photos and listing again before purchasing.
